Polo Ralph Lauren, Seoul

Polo’s flagship in Korea is a retrofit of an existing building with a design that transforms disparate components of the existing facade to create a distinct Ralph Lauren building. On the interior, each of three floors read as a series of cascading levels; an idea that is reflected in the overlapping floating planes of the limestone floors and the irocco wood plank ceilings. The sculptural walls of the self-supporting stair anchor each floor and create the internal focus of the space.
